Welcome to Burrendong Gardens, working with Mother Nature in Australia.
We are located at beautiful Lake Burrendong in Central New South Wales, Australia and have been selling online since 1999.
Lake Burrendong is 34k from Wellington and halfway between Orange and Dubbo. It is a popular tourist destination for bush walking, fishing and water sports, or for that relaxing few days we all dream about.
Burrendong Gardens Nursery was established in 1999 and is a family owned business.
We grow all our own products and harvest the seed which is cleaned and graded by hand. Currently we have over 740 varieties of seed, including Asian Vegetables, Australian Natives, Flowers, Herbs, Gourds, Giants and a huge range of heirloom Vegetable seed.
We also supply potted and bare-rooted plants, shrubs and trees, including: Rhubarb, Horseradish, Egyptian Tree Onions, Shallots, Artichokes, Asparagus crowns, Garlic, various fruit bushes and vines and a selectionof ornamental and fruit trees.
We do not use any chemicals of any description and all our seed is Untreated, Non-Hybrid, Open Pollinated and Non-Genetically Modified.
New varieties purchased by us are grown for three seasons before being made available to our gardening customers.
A selection of new and pre-loved gardening books and magazines can also be found in our shop, together with a selection of gardening tools and accessories.
Our 'Gardening Tips' and 'Culture Notes' are there for you to copy and use and our horticulturist is always happy to answer any questions you may have, so just send her an email via our 'Contact Us' form.
