Mix up a solution of household bleach and water at the rate of 10 to 1. Soak and wash the seeds for 1 hour, then drain and rinse with clean sterile water that has been boiled and cooled. Place seeds in a plastic bag with some vermiculite. The vermiculite must be sterilised in an oven for an hour and stirred every 15 minutes. Let cool and add sterile water until vermiculite becomes clingy, not saturated. Seal the bag and place in a position where the temperature only varies between 15 and 20 degrees celsius. Once seedlings have germinated and the first two cotyledons have appeared they can be potted into a good quality mix. When seedlings have reached 120-150mm in height gradually move them out into the sun to harden them off for aperiod of two months. During this period you should add your host, so it can establish itself.
